We’re looking for a motivated and tech-savvy WordPress Developer (Trainee) to join our growing team in Panadura. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about web development and want to gain hands-on experience with WordPress. As a trainee, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced developers and project managers to assist in building and maintaining client websites. If you’re ready to sharpen your coding skills and learn how real digital projects work, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites

  • Customize themes and templates to meet client needs

  • Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular updates

  • Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX elements

  • Work with plugins (JetEngine, Elementor, WooCommerce, etc.)

  • Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and secure

  • Support SEO and performance optimization efforts

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and website development

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP

  • Understanding of Elementor, JetEngine, or similar page builders is a plus

  • Eagerness to learn and follow best practices

  • Good problem-solving and time management skills

  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, on-site environment

  • Portfolio or examples of personal/academic web projects are a bonus

  • Residing in or willing to commute to Panadura
